Rustic, Natural Bark Earrings #02 | Carved From Naturally Green, Fungus-Stained Wood

These beautiful, rustic earrings were individually hand crafted using foraged wood that has been naturally stained (spalted) blue-green by the fungus Chlorociboria. This set features all-natural bark, with burned areas from the fire that visited the forest it was harvested from. There are also a couple of actual Chlorociboria fruiting bodies on the underside of one of the earrings, almost invisible to the naked eye. (Last Photo)

They are each unique, following no pattern or template, and have been carefully sanded to expose the best of the natural coloration. The wood itself is very lightweight, perfect for sensitive ears. Hypoallergenic, gold-plated hooks are used to assure comfort. Each Chlorociboria Creation comes with a small laminated card explaining the fungus that causes the color, and a free sticker.  🙂
