Oregon Display Piece #05 | Naturally Fungus Stained Wood

This Oregon-shaped display piece was hand crafted from self-foraged wood that has been naturally colored blue/green by the mushroom Chlorociboria, AKA Turquoise Elf Cups. It was created in Oregon, out of wood that grew in Oregon, by a lifelong Oregon native. If you couldn't tell, we're celebrating Oregon with these pieces. 😅

Handmade crafting guarantees that this exact shape is isn't quite like any other, and it will also feature unique variations of green spalting caused by the mushroom that grew on the wood.

This particular Oregon shape features a bright streak of lighter wood toward the center, and a lightly burned SE corner.

The piece is thick, sturdy, and self-standing. It is finished with two layers of natural Watco Danish Oil.
