Morel Mushroom Earrings #18 | Carved From Naturally Green, Fungus-Stained Wood

These Morel Mushroom earrings were individually hand crafted using foraged wood that has been naturally stained (spalted) blue-green by the fungus Chlorociboria. This particular set features deep green color throughout, with very little of the original brown color remaining.

They are each unique, following no pattern or template, and have been carefully sanded to expose the best of the natural coloration. The wood itself is very lightweight, perfect for sensitive ears. Hypoallergenic, nickel-free sterling silver hooks are used to assure comfort. Each Chlorociboria Creation comes with a small laminated card explaining the fungus that causes the color, and a free sticker.  🙂
