Abstract Shape #05 Earrings | Carved From Naturally Green, Fungus-Stained Wood

These beautiful earrings were individually hand crafted using foraged wood that has been naturally stained (spalted) blue-green by the fungus Chlorociboria. This set features a gorgeous gradient between the original wood pattern and the fungi that attacked it.

They are each unique, following no pattern or template, and have been carefully sanded to expose the best of the natural coloration. The wood itself is very lightweight, perfect for sensitive ears. Hypoallergenic, gold-plated hooks are used to assure comfort. Each Chlorociboria Creation comes with a small laminated card explaining the fungus that causes the color, and a free sticker.  🙂
